Casa di Annusca b&b is an ancient palace on two floors situated in the heart of the Oltrarno district, one of the most beautiful areas in Florence; the word “Oltrarno” means “beyond the Arno” and indeed, the quarter is located along the south shore of the Arno river, away from hit-and-run tourism. Among all of the Florence districts, the Oltrarno is the one that better reflects the original characteristics of the city, it is very charming, mostly frequented by locals and literally filled with antique shops, artisan workshops, private back gardens and large famous gardens (e.g. the Boboli Gardens, the Giardino Corsi and the Giardino Torrigiani).

Casa di Annusca b&b has a small garden too that shares a border with Giardino Torrigiani, the imposing trees of this garden make this place an oasis of peace and give you the impression of being in the countryside, even if you're right in the heart of downtown Florence.

The b&b was given its name by the owner, in memory of his beloved sister who departed too soon: she was deeply in love with the project, if only she were here, she would have been enthusiastic about it.

Casa di Annusca has 4 rooms on 2 floors: the lower ground floor comprises the room named “Your Room in Florence”, the dining room (where breakfast is served during the bad season) and the garden (where breakfast is served during the summer); the first floor comprises 3 newly renovated rooms – Cupido's room, Venus' room and Mars' room – a small living room and the kitchen, available for our guests. The rooms furniture evokes the atmosphere of a boutique hotel.

All rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, they are furnished with old furniture and embellished with some paintings by artists Elena Soldani and Rodolfo Meli; Rodolfo Meli painted also the doors of the first floor rooms.

The b&b is open all year round, except 10 days in November and 20 days in January.
